Privacy & personal data

This website collects almost nothing: no forms, no accounts, just anonymous cookie-free traffic measurement. You browse it without leaving any personal data; if you want a quote, you call or write directly to the craftsman.

1. Data controller

2. What data is collected?

  • No data by the website itself: there are no forms, no accounts, no comments. The website never asks for your name, phone number or email address.
  • If you get in touch: the phone number or email address you use to call or write is handled by Nicolas Autran solely to answer your enquiry and draw up a quote. The website has no access to it.
  • Traffic measurement: page views, referring site, country and device type. No cookies are set, your IP address is never stored: it is only used to compute an anonymous fingerprint, renewed daily, which cannot identify you or follow you from one site to another. Statistics are aggregated and kept for 13 months at most.

3. Legal basis

Anonymous traffic measurement relies on the business’s legitimate interest in knowing how its website is used (article 6.1.f of the GDPR); it is exempt from consent, in line with the recommendations of the CNIL, the French data protection authority. Contact details you share spontaneously (call, email) are processed on the basis of pre-contractual measures taken at your request.

4. Recipients

Website statistics are viewed only by Nicolas Autran (and the technician who hosts the website on his behalf). They are never sold, transferred or shared for advertising purposes. Phone and email exchanges stay between you and the craftsman.

5. Retention period

  • Contact details shared spontaneously (call, email, message): 3 years from the last contact, then deleted.
  • Quotes and invoices issued: 10 years, in line with accounting obligations.
  • Traffic statistics: 13 months at most, in aggregated form.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to autranmenuiserie@hotmail.fr or by post to the registered office address. A reply is sent within one month. If you disagree, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).

7. Cookies

This website sets no cookies at all: no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no social-network cookies. That is why you see no consent banner here. If you sign in to the administration area reserved for the craftsman, a strictly necessary technical session cookie is used there.

8. Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Access to the administration area is password-protected, and exchanges with the server are encrypted. Data is stored on a private server, not shared with third parties.

This policy may be updated; the date of the last change is shown below.
